What is CreatorCut?
CreatorCut is a portal and service provider specifically designed to help video creators raise investment crowdfunding from their fans. Working with a registered intermediary, we help to simplify the process of allowing fans to invest in the projects of their favorite creators, sharing in both the creative and financial success, all within a system designed to put trust and transparency at the forefront of the relationship.
How does CreatorCut work?
Creators post details of their video projects, and fans, through Andes Capital, a registered intermediary, can choose to invest in them. Once the project is successfully funded and as and to the extent it generates profits, investors receive a return based on their investment.
Is my investment safe?
We prioritize the protection of fans who invest in creator projects, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing those investments. CreatorCut is a service provider that works directly with third parties, including Andes Capital, a boutique institutional brokerage and financial services firm, in a manner designed to comply with laws and regulations meant to safeguard investors' interests. However, like all investments, there are inherent risks and not all projects will make a positive financial return.
How do I start investing in projects?
Simply create an account with CreatorCut (through our service provider, KoreConX, which includes creating an account with Andes Capital, a boutique institutional brokerage and financial services firm), browse the available video projects, and select the one(s) you'd like to support. Follow the instructions to complete your investment.
What happens if a project doesn’t reach its funding goal?
If a project doesn't achieve its minimum target fundraising amount by the deadline, the fundraising is canceled, and all funds are returned to the investors.
How are profits distributed?
Investors first receive distributions until they've recouped their initial investment plus a pre-determined return. Thereafter, they split a specified allocation of all profit distributions, with the remainder divided between the creator and CreatorCut. Can I withdraw my investment?
You may cancel your investment at any time, for any reason, until 48 hours prior to a closing occurring. If you have already funded your investment and your funds are in escrow, your funds will be promptly refunded to you upon cancellation.

CreatorCut fosters direct connections between creators and their most engaged fans, providing avenues for communication and feedback within the platform.
How is CreatorCut different from other crowdfunding platforms?
Unlike typical patronage models, CreatorCut offers investment crowdfunding, and is tailored specifically to the needs of creators and their fans. This means fans aren't just donors; they’re investors who share in the financial success of the projects they support.
Are there fees for using CreatorCut?

Do I need to be a professional or “accredited” investor to invest in CreatorCut?
No, CreatorCut is open to all fans who wish to support their favorite creators and share in their success. Creators who work with CreatorCut rely on Regulation CF to be able to sell investments to all investors. Regulation CF imposes certain limitations and restrictions on how the creator can take investment and on your ability to trade your investment interests in the project (as further outlined in the relevant disclosure documents).
Can I invest in multiple projects?
Absolutely! You can support and invest in as many projects as you're interested in, subject to compliance with certain annual limits proscribed in applicable securities laws and regulations.
